Health and Safety
OCI Beaumont is committed to providing a safe work environment that meets the most stringent international standards.
Our safety record is considered best in class when compared to national averages within our industry classification. As a direct result of our commitment to safety, we were approved by OSHA in March 2016 as a VPP Star Site. OCI Beaumont is part of an elite group of organizations that provide exemplary occupational safety and health protection and serve as models for others.
Environment
OCI Beaumont is committed to minimizing our carbon footprint and any impact on the environment. We have installed state-of-the-art technology to produce both ammonia and methanol as green as technologically possible and are continually seeking greener and more environmentally friendly ways to produce our products.
We have implemented Best Available Control Technology (BACT), a pollution control standard mandated by the United States Clean Air Act, to further reduce our environmental impact.
On December 20, 2016 we became ISO 14001 certified. ISO 14000 (which includes ISO 14001) is an international standard on environmental management developed by the International Organization for Standardization that was developed to help organizations manage the environmental impacts of their processes, products and services. ISO 14001 defines an approach to setting and achieving environmental objectives and targets, within a structured management framework.

ISO 9001 certification indicates that a company has established and follows a rigorous set of requirements aimed at achieving customer satisfaction by preventing nonconformity in design, development, production, installation and servicing of products.
